Chinese Culture Week (CCW)
Chinese Culture Week (CCW) is a vibrant celebration of Chinese arts and traditions, a yearly pop up during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. It brings together global audiences to explore Chinese culture through performances, exhibitions, workshops, and discussions. CCW provides a platform for cross-cultural dialogue and showcases the richness of Chinese heritage while creating opportunities for artists and cultural enthusiasts to connect and collaborate.
Theatre Education for Young People
ICI is committed to nurturing young talent by offering theatre education that brings together children from diverse cultural backgrounds. In collaboration with top institutes such as the Royal Scottish Conservatoire, Birmingham Royal Conservatoire, and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, we provide world-class training and cultural experiences that help young people explore new perspectives, learn from their peers, and develop a deeper appreciation for global traditions.
Global Female Artists Support Programme
This peer-learning network is designed to uplift and support female artists around the world. Through collaboration and mentorship, international female artists come together to share their talents, experiences, and expertise. This programme empowers women in the arts, offering them a platform for growth, learning, and collective support as they navigate the challenges of the global creative landscape.
Entrepreneurship Engagement Programme
Through our Entrepreneurship Engagement programme, ICI supports marginalized individuals in launching start-up ventures related to culture and the arts. We provide mentorship, resources, and networking opportunities to help artists, cultural practitioners, and creatives from underrepresented communities turn their ideas into successful businesses. By empowering these individuals, we aim to foster economic independence and cultural innovation.
