Edinburgh, January 2026 — Intercultural Connections Initiative (ICI) was honoured to attend the Lord Provost of Edinburgh’s Charity Burns Supper in support of OneCity Trust, a local charity dedicated to tackling inequality and social exclusion across the city.

Held at Prestonfield House, the annual fundraising dinner brought together civic leaders, charitable organisations, and community partners to celebrate Scotland’s cultural traditions while raising vital funds for causes supporting Edinburgh’s most vulnerable communities. The event was hosted by the Lord Provost and formed part of OneCity Trust’s ongoing efforts to strengthen community resilience and social cohesion.

ICI participated in the evening by hosting two tables, joined by colleagues, partners, and supporters from the cultural and creative sectors. In addition, ICI contributed to the fundraising efforts by donating and supporting a number of auction items, helping to generate further support for OneCity Trust’s programmes.

As an organisation committed to intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, and international exchange, ICI recognises the importance of local charitable work in building a more equitable and connected city. Supporting OneCity Trust aligns closely with ICI’s values of community engagement and shared responsibility, particularly within Edinburgh’s diverse social and cultural landscape.
ICI extends its appreciation to the Lord Provost, OneCity Trust, and all those involved in organising the event, as well as to the wider community of attendees whose collective generosity contributed to the evening’s success.
